At age 43 Jacob gave it all up and sold the business in order to devote himself to a higher cause, that of teaching and demonstrating the best gardening principles and procedures to people all over the world.

For the next 40+ years Jacob conducted 75 large gardening training and demonstration projects in 27 countries, changing the lives of millions of people, and even changing the economies of countries.

He authored 10 books and 9 subject-specific manuals, along with 86 training lectures and other materials.

He was honored by Universities on 4 continents.
